Best practices
- Drive: Share specific files or folders if needed. Agents typically access files you reference or that are in your main Drive. Very large files may take longer to process.
- Calendar: For multiple calendars, the primary calendar is used when you sync. Support for additional calendars depends on the implementation. Remember that sync does not happen automatically.
- Security: Only connect accounts you trust Minibuddies to access. Use OAuth; never share passwords. Revoke access from Google if you disconnect or suspect any issue.
Disconnecting
To disconnect Google Drive or Google Calendar:- Go to Integrations in the dashboard.
- Find Google Drive or Google Calendar.
- Click Disconnect or Remove.
- Confirm the action.
Troubleshooting
Drive connection failed
- Ensure pop-ups aren’t blocked.
- Try a different browser or incognito mode.
- For Google Workspace, your admin may need to allow the app.
- Ensure you’re signing in with the correct account.
Calendar events not showing
- Verify the integration is connected (Integrations shows “Connected”).
- Ensure you have synced your calendar to Minibuddies (sync does not happen automatically).
- Check that your Google Calendar has events and that you’re viewing the right time range.
- Disconnect and reconnect to refresh the token.
Agent can’t find a file
- Use the exact file name or a unique part of it.
- Ensure the file is in the connected account’s Drive (or a shared drive the account can access).
- Very large files or uncommon formats may have limitations. Try a smaller or more standard format.
Permission errors
- Reconnect the integration to refresh permissions.
- Ensure you granted all requested scopes (read, and write if needed).
- For shared drives, the connected account must have appropriate access.
